Welcome to my academic space. My journey began in Bangladesh, where I trained in agricultural extension and education, and has since taken me through research and teaching experiences in Germany and Canada. Along the way, I have developed a passion for understanding how people engage with information, how advisory systems function across contexts, and how these dynamics shape transitions toward sustainable agri-food systems.
My research contributions focus on three interconnected areas: climate misinformation and trust in agriculture and food systems, the role of pluralistic advisory services in supporting farmers, and the adoption of sustainable technologies such as digital tools in aquaculture. Through peer-reviewed publications, collaborative projects, and interdisciplinary partnerships, I aim to generate evidence that strengthens both policy and practice in agri-food sustainability.
As a teacher, I encourage critical engagement, applied learning, and interdisciplinary perspectives. My teaching philosophy rests on the idea that students learn best when theory and practice meet, whether through case-based discussions, applied research methods, or exploring the ethical dimensions of agricultural innovation.
I am always open to collaboration with researchers, practitioners, and students who share an interest in agri-food systems, sustainability, and communication. Let’s connect and work together on innovative ideas that address the pressing challenges of our time.
